Desert Hound Express (DHEx) was established in as a 501 C (3) to assist individuals with the welfare of dogs to safety, care and rehoming.

In much of our world, the plight of domestic animals is dire. With increasing wealth in some parts of the world that do not have tradition or infrastructure of animal welfare, the growing population, the number of stray and abandoned animals continues to explode. 

Rescue efforts alone will not solve this complex issue impacting humans and animals alike. But efforts do make a difference for the individual dogs we are able to work with.  And we hope, at the same time make contribution to greater global awareness and understanding of animal welfare.
